REVIEW: Great Ratings Overall, but Reliability a Concern for this Tesla Driver

We have some big news to share with you this week about our new Tesla profile page, but first we have another review to share with you.

Tesla has had some challenges meeting production goals of the Model 3, but they are quickly ramping up. They are now producing over 2,000 Model 3s per week. We are starting to see more reviews of this Model come through Driverless Ratings, including today's featured review.

This reviewer has had his Model 3 since the beginning of March and has taken many rides in Arizona since then.

Overall, the reviewer gave the vehicle all 5's expect one category, Reliability:

How Safe I Felt: 5 Stars
Reliability: 3.5 Stars
Ease of Use: 5 Stars
I'd Recommend this Car to Family or Friends: 5 Stars
Overall Experience: 5 Stars

When asked about the problems he has experienced with the vehicle, he responded:

The autopilot either works perfectly as soon as I start driving, or it is disabled until I park leave and then return to the car, when this happens cruise control is also disabled. I have contacted Tesla and it appears to be a software issue. It also has some trouble with merging lanes.

The inconstant availability of Autopilot would be frustrating, the merger trouble could be dangerous. Despite this, this reviewer only wants more time to utilize Autopilot. He writes:

My only complaint is that I can't use it more. I'm the best driver in my family, it's already significantly better than me at most aspects of driving. I'm excited to use fully autonomous mode once the software is ready.

It is still early for Tesla and the Model 3. So far, we have seen very strong reviews for this vehicle. Check back soon to see all of the ratings for Tesla!
