REVIEW: Strong Tesla Rating on the Streets of England

Each country has its own driving rules and regulations. Complying with these unique rules and regulations presents a difficult challenge for auto makers and operators of autonomous vehicles. Something that works great in the United States may be dangerous elsewhere. Therefore, we will continue to make an effort to get as many ratings and reviews from places all over the globe.

Today's featured review highlights one driver's experience in Newbury, Berkshire, United Kingdom.  The driver has operated a 2017 Tesla Model S on many occasions.

Here were the overall ratings given:

How Safe I Felt: 4.5 Stars
Reliability: 3.5 Stars
Ease of Use: 5 Stars
I'd Recommend this Car to Family or Friends: 4.5 Stars
Overall Experience: 5 Stars

It was interesting to see strong ratings on most categories but a moderate rating on reliability. The reviewer further explained some difficulties the vehicle had in remaining in the center of each lane. It was not anything that had the driver fearing for his safety, but something the driver found to be interesting. He stated:

On wider lanes, car was slightly off center to the left. Still remained fully in the proper lane.

In his overall assessment, this driver stated, as we have heard before, that AP 1 was better at some things than AP 2. He stated in his overall assessment:

Tesla Autopilot is hardware 2.0 full camera suite and is probably the best I've ever seen. Updates come at least every 3 months via OTA. The car is improving and the autopilot has now on par with AP1. Incredible to see if you have never seen AP before.

Stay tuned for our Tesla profile page coming out soon and next week we will feature another review!
