Unassisted Vehicles Hitting the Road in Europe Next Year

The Associated Press is reporting that as early as next year, we could have the first test of fully autonomous vehicles traveling on public roadways.

Delphi, an automotive electronics and parts maker, and French transport company, Transdev plan to use autonomous taxis and a shuttle van to carry passengers on roadways in France.

They are also looking at locations for North America, though no plans have been finalized.
